Sailing since she was eight years old, Annabel has sailed a 420, which is a double-handed yacht, for the past three years.
Recently competing in the NZ 420 Nationals with her skipper, Alice Haslett from Diocesan School for Girls, they gained a position in the NZ 420 Worlds. Only the top boys and girls' teams from this regatta were chosen for this competition.
Annabel's goal is to represent New Zealand at the Youth Worlds in December. She will use the NZ 420 Worlds in July as preparation, and trials for the Youth Worlds will be held in October.
