To top off the week of training, held during the Term One break, the girls also competed against several Melbourne schools.
A small group of girls were then further selected to train with the Melbourne Under 19s and Senior Falcon squad, led by four Victoria state coaches.
“This trip was a privilege and a testament to the students' commitment and enthusiasm,” says teacher-in-charge Sarah Hogg. “This has been an awesome opportunity for our girls to build on their skills and technique in preparation for the upcoming netball season.”
The group learnt a great deal and have come away from the experience enthusiastic and excited to put what they learnt into practice.
