On Saturday 14, May, 12 King’s students participated in a two-hour long Auckland Mathematical Olympiad competition. Over 200 students across the Auckland region, including 80 seniors and 125 juniors, took part in this event. King’s College students should be congratulated for their sterling performances.

Max Wilson and William Wang came second and third respectively in the Senior division. Keith Spencer-Edgar also achieved 11th in this division. James Mead and Nathaniel Masfen-Yan achieved 2nd and 6th position respectively in the Junior division.

This resulted in King’s College having more students in the top 30 placings overall than any other schools, with three in the top six across the two divisions, and two in the top four across both divisions.
