Four King's College students, Amay Aggarwal, George (Jinyi) Li, Martin Luk and William Wang, recently attended the residential Mathematical Olympiad training camp, which was held at the University of Auckland.

Twenty-six students from around New Zealand were selected to attend the camp. The purpose of the camp was to provide enrichment and motivational material for mathematically able students from Year 9 to Year 13.

From the twenty-six, twelve students were chosen for the NZIMO training camp, including Martin Luk and William Wang. From this squad, six will be selected to represent New Zealand at the 56th International Mathematical Olympiad in Chiang Mai, Thailand in July. This will be announced in April.

We wish Martin and William the best of luck for the final selection.
