Ali Ikram is a journalist and broadcaster. Most recently he worked as a reporter on the Campbell Liveprogramme. He writes a column on fame for Fairfax newspapers and one on art for the Weekend Herald. In his TV career, Ali reported on the Asian Tsunami from Banda Aceh, the Coral Burrows murder inquiry and the Christchurch Earthquake. As a satirist, he composed and performed the Week In Karaoke song series and once risked arrest to deface Labour election billboards with theface of the party's own leader. He lives in Auckland and is currently unemployed.

At lunchtime on Friday we will be holding a version of the comedy panel show 'Would I lie to you'. There will be a Teachers vs. Students tournament. Contestants will have to bluff about their deepest secrets and the opposing team will have to find out which ones are true.
