Our students travelled to Inglewood on Saturday 8 April for the North Island Secondary School Athletic Championships, and achieved some outstanding results.
Year 9 student Zane Powell (Peart) won silver and bronze in the junior 3000m and the junior 1500m respectively. Both of times recorded by Powell were new records for the College.
Fergus McLeay (Year 11, Major) won bronze in the Triple jump and came fourth in the Long jump.
Senior athlete George Cory Wright (Year 12, School) also gained silver in the 3000m.
Head of Sport, Jim Potts says this is another fantastic set of results from our young athletes.
“These students have trained very hard and it is great to be able to see them reaping the rewards for all of their hard work."
