King's First XI Hockey team won the Bartholomew Cup by defeating Auckland Grammar School 2-1 in a pulsating encounter at Auckland Grammar School last night, on Wednesday 9 August.

This win over Auckland Grammar School was our first win in two years. This puts our team into the top four of the Super City Hockey competition.

Goal keeper Luther Robinson (Year 13, Selwyn) had a great game under the bar and kept us in the contest with some great saves.

Goal scorers: Kalpesh Morar (Year 13, Selwyn) and Hamish Burnett-Brown (Year 11, Averill).
