On hand to present each player with their new jersey was John Bayley from Bayleys Real Estate and Grant Fox, current All Blacks selector.
In attendance were the rugby students alongside their families, the First XV sponsors and our King’s Rugby supporters.
Grant, who was also the speaker for the evening, did a fantastic job at captivating the team.
As a previous King’s College First XV coach, Grant spoke about the need for the players to push each other to be the best they can be, and congratulated the boys for making the First XV squad.
When offering take-home advice, Grant instilled the notion that when stepping on the field, you must always give it your all.
