Alexander has a degree in Stage Combat and is a fight choreographer at The New Zealand Stage Combat School.
He worked on Romeo and Juliet during the Auckland season of the Pop-Up Globe. Previously, he worked as a combat choreographer and stage fighter for major productions of Ballet and Opera at the Royal Opera House London.
Whilst in London, he also worked on a number of other stage productions, including The Shawshank Redemption. The cast have thoroughly enjoyed working with Alexander and are looking forward to showcasing their newfound stage combat skills during the performance of Wheeler’s Luck at the end of the term.
Performances will be held in the final week of this term: Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 September at 7pm in the Great Hall.
