It was wonderful to see all of the King’s crews rowing with such skill and determination. It was also terrific to have a large group of King’s students and staff present in support.
Wins were achieved by the following crews:
- Boys' Under-15 Double (Div 3)
- Boys' Under-16 Quad (Div 3)
- Boys' Under-17 Double (Div 4)
- Boys' Under-16 Double (Div 4)
- Boys' Under-16 Quad (Div 3)
- Boys' Under-18 Single (Div 1, Tom Brown and Div 4, Matt Ganley)
- Boys' Under-16 Quad (Div 3)
- Boys' Under-15 Quad (Div 1 and 2)
- Boys' Under-18 Double (Div 3)
- Boys' Under-17 Quad (Div 1 and 2)
- Boys' Under-15 Octuple (Div 1)
There are only three regattas remaining this season: the Mighty River Power Junior Regatta (this coming weekend), the North Island Championships (6-8 March) and The Maadi Cup (23-29 March). If the performance of the King’s crews at the Head of the Harbour is anything to go by, there should be some exciting times ahead!
