Our annual Grandparents’ Morning at the College was yet another memorable occasion to bring new students and their grandparents together.

The event included a photograph on arrival, followed by a walking tour of the College, a Chapel service and a morning tea.

For our special guests, the morning was great chance to spend quality time with their grandchildren and see how the College operates today by visiting the Technology, Science and Visual Arts departments.

This year’s event attracted the biggest crowd yet and it was fantastic to see the Great Hall bustling with King’s families. As a take-home token, each grandparent was given their printed family photograph to leave with.

Thank you to those that attended and thank you for your wonderful feedback on the morning:

“Thank you to the College for turning on such a happy and interesting event yesterday,” says Patrick and Dawn Gibson. “We thoroughly enjoyed the occasion and were grateful to have the opportunity to see how fortunate our grand-daughter, Ana, is to attend this school.”

“Thanks for a great Grandparents’ Day today, we really enjoyed it,” says Jan and Peter Hay. “We caught up with a few old faces and now look forward to meeting more friends at future College events.”
