Tuesday 26 May 2015

On Friday, 22 May King's College hosted the annual Golf Day at the Titirangi Golf Club.

Twenty-eight teams participated on the day and although they felt the course was challenging, it was still enjoyed by all.

A selection of hot dogs, oyster shots, a barbeque, as well as wine tasting and a circulating drainks cart kept the golfers well refreshed and energised!

Following completion of the course, the formalities took place in the Clubroom, which included prizegiving and a short live auction. The Stabelford format saw Cover Staff Recruitment came out on top, walking away with the trophy.

A raffle was also run with tickets being sold both before and on the day; the prize being a weekend on the Gold Coast, staying at the Palazzo Versace Resort and included two night's accommodation and flights for two adults, as well as a rental car. This mini-getaway was generously provided by Business World Travel and won by Awen Guttenbeil.

All funds raised from the Golf Day are being put towards the purchase of new gym equipment, which will benefit all students, over all sporting codes, at the College.

King's would like to offer their sincere thanks to all those who sponsored and supported the day and contributed to its success. it would not have been possible without you.

Thank you to the following sponsors who sponsored a hole.
