After plenty of successful games, our two Girls Touch teams have finished the season, competing in the Counties Manukau Girls Touch competition.

Kings 1

The teams King’s played against were Rosehill College Red, Rosehill College Blue, Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate, Tangaroa College, Mangere College and Otahuhu College.

The King’s 1 team was well lead by Cora-Faith Prime (Year 13, Middlemore) who captained the team and lead the try scorers. This team showcased some great skills this season and achieved an easy win against Otahuhu College, 5-1, to win the competition.

The King’s 2 team also performed well all season. “The second team never looked out of depth in this competition, and even secured a few wins along the way,” says Robert Paterson, Girls Touch Coach and Head of Health and Physical Education.
