King's College recently competed in the New Zealand Indoor National Archery Tournament at the Manawatu Archery Club.

A large event with over 160 archers of all ages, King's College students Jack Forsythe, Frasier Cho, Luke Hindmarsh and Max Wilson shot in the Under-17 Cadet Male category and produced the following results:

  • Frasier won the World Archery Cadet Male rounds with Max 3rd and Jack a very close 4th.

  • Luke came up against the number two ranked archer early in a knock-out matchplay event, but put up a good fight before being narrowly beaten.

  • After some intense matchplay, Jack received the bronze medal and Frasier and Max battled against each other in the gold/silver match. Max came out as the victor, winning the gold medal.

Congratulations to the boys for these fantastic results.
