Emerson is captain of a team of six athletes from New Zealand and will be travelling with a wider group of 24 athletes.
Emerson was selected for the team based on her placing at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Cross Country championships in June this year and other recent performances at cross country events.
This is an outstanding achievement for Emerson and we wish her all the best for the Championships.
