To embrace the spirit of Easter, on Tuesday, 31 March, nine Taylor House girls visited Otahuhu Primary School to deliver over 440 easter eggs to the students and staff.

Part of a Taylor Committee Community Service initiative, the purpose of delivering an abundance of chocolate was to equally give a small amount of pleasure to children who are less fortunate, and to promote positive relations between schools in the local area.

Each Taylor House girl donated $2.00 for purchasing the easter eggs and then on the day, the nine girls, along with Mrs Jessie Chester, spent approximately 30 minutes going into each classroom and handing out all the eggs.

Describing the visit, Prefect Liaison Millie Baker said, "All of us loved the experience. It was so nice to see how happy all the kids were to see us with our bunny ears and baskets of eggs. The kids were all very polite saying thank you and Happy Easter".

A rewarding experience for all involved, it is sure to be an annual occurrence for Taylor House.
