Not put off by the rainy conditions, the students battled it out for top honors in Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Girls categories, all of which combine to decide the overall Cross-Country Champion House.

Selwyn proved best on the day and the winner of the Championship Cup. Greenbank finished close second and Major third.

The winner of the participation award (and much coveted chocolate cake) goes to Greenbank, with Selwyn second and Major third.

For individual titles, it was Brooke Varney (Year 12, Middlemore) who took out the number one spot in the Girls race. In the Junior race, it was Zane Powell (Year 9, Peart) who ran fastest on the day. James Robertson (Year 10, Greenbank) won the Intermediate race and a very impressive run by George Cory-Wright (Year 12, School) saw him place first in the Seniors race.
