The Under-23 Future Black Sticks side will play an Australian Under-23 team five times from Saturday, 21 to Friday, 27 November.
It is an important series, leading up to next year's Junior World Cup. It also provides a high quality development opportunity, and gives players exposure to top class international competition which will help build depth for the Black Sticks going forward.
The series also shows the strengthening connection between New Zealand and Australia.
Playing as a defender, this is 23-year-old Chad Whitehead's first recognition at national level, and the King's community couldn't be prouder! All the best for the series Chad.
