Isabella’s win is particularly impressive as other finalists were from the University of Auckland’s fine art school Elam, AUT, Unitec and other tertiary institutions.
Isabella’s piece was a work she began in Atlanta, GA in America when she went as the first New Zealander to have won a scholarship to the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design, SCAD.
Isabella was presented with her prize at Lopdell House on Thursday, 3 September. Congratulations Issy – King’s College is so proud of your success.
