The historic building, typically used for unique functions and speeches, was soon alive with the upbeat music from two talented College bands.
The Late Night Jazz, led by Mr Artley, opened the night playing Jazz standards like Cry Me A River and Summertime. The Burtones closed with a set featuring a wide range of musical genres including reggae classics like Let My People Go and rock number La Grange, ending with Minnie the Moocher with band manager Mr Burton on vocals.
Overall it was a great night of entertainment and distraction from the usual busy life of the College for all those involved.
