An art event for everyone
Newly appointed Head of the Art Sale Committee, Rachael McLaren says this year’s Art Sale weekend is a chance to build on the previous success of past years, and for the wider College community to meet, while enjoying some truly fantastic art work.
“The committee is excited to be exhibiting many new artists this year. We’ve welcomed a large number of enthusiastic new committee members who look forward playing a part in creating a fabulous weekend for all.”

The Art Sale is also a great opportunity for the College’s art and technology students to exhibit their work alongside renowned artists. The special Opening Night, with entertainment from some of King’s talented bands, is another much anticipated part of the weekend.
“On Friday 2 November, we will again welcome more than 400 guests, artists and sponsors to the opening night to take a first look at the artwork from more than 200 artists as well as admire the student’s work. There will be delicious food and great entertainment from our student bands.”
Bring your family and friends
The Art Sale Cafe will be open on Saturday and Sunday to offer up great coffee and tea and delicious food to attendees.
Invite your grandparents and special friends to High Tea on Saturday afternoon at the cafe from 1-3pm.
Following the success of the Art Box last year, there will be more ceramics, prints, jewellery and smaller artworks on display to purchase and take home so come and find your perfect beautiful gifts.
Tickets for the Opening Night on Friday 2 November will go on sale from mid-September.
