Founder of the Institute of Global Engagement, Jan Fitz-Gerald says the most popular part of the tour for the students was College archivist, John Bean with his warm and inspiring welcomeand who entertained the group with historical facts on the Chapel and insight into how the College has changed over the years.

As part of their tour around Auckland, the young leaders also visited Fonterra, Comvita, Air New Zealand, Auckland University of Technology and the University of Auckland. King’s College was the only secondary school included, providing the students with fantastic insight into New Zealand school life.

The Summit explored a range of important topics that the next generation of leaders are expected to face together with cross-cultural resolutions taking precedence.
