Staff and female students are invited to come along and hear from Old Collegian and Personal Branding Specialist Jo Martin as she gives advice on successfully overcoming key challenges in work and life for women, all in honour of celebrating International Women's Day.

Cost: Gold coin donation at the door with all money raised going towards Women's Refuge New Zealand.
We hope to see all female students there for a fun and inspiring morning. A breakfast of croissants, fruit, tea and coffee will be available on arrival.
Listen out for details on a student-led Chapel Close concert to take place in the lead up to International Women's Day, with money raised also going towards Women's Refuge New Zealand.

Guest Speaker: Jo Martin
Jo Martin joined Brand New You in 2009 bringing with her over 15 years experience in PR, marketing and journalism. Brand New You are personal branding experts working with corporates to build presence and have impact in the workplace. Jo works across all of Brand New You’s clients providing personal branding services and consulting and delivering seminars and workshops.
Previously, Jo has worked in London, Auckland and Sydney. Jo was responsible for launching several French luxury brands into the British marketplace including Longchamp, Anne Fontaine and La Maison de Chocolat; managing the launch activity and on-going marketing and public relations campaigns.
In addition, Jo has experience in public relations in both the technology and banking industries in London and New Zealand with clients including SAP, Foundry Networks and Westpac Banking Group.
Jo attended King’s College in 1991 and 1992. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Studies (University of Otago) Honours in Journalism (University of Canterbury) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Communications (University of Otago).
