Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Immunisation Guardasil 9 Campaign helps prevent cancers caused by HPV infection. HPV immunisation helps protect against a virus that causes several cancers affecting both men and women. The HPV vaccine is now available free for everyone aged 9-26 years.

The speaker at this event is Helen Petousis-Harris, who is a Senior Lecturer in Vaccinology at University of Auckland and Academic Head of Immunisation Research and Vaccinology at the Immunisation Advisory Centre. Petousis-Harris is a member of the World Health Organisation and the Global Advisory Committee on vaccine safety.

She will be joined by Lisbeth Alley (RN) Regional Immunisation Advisor, at the University of Auckland.

This promises to be an informative evening and we encourage our King's community to attend if you are considering the HPV immunisation.
