Parents of all cricketers are invited to attend an information evening, to be held at the new showrooms of Auckland City BMW in Newmarket.
Come along to hear Mr Matthew Cowie, the new Head of Cricket, present his plans and vision for cricket at King’s. Mr Cowie's involvement in cricket stretches 25 years, as a player, coach and administrator.
Mr Cowie has recently joined King’s College from a role as Regional Cricket Officer in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia. Prior to that, he was Development Manager for Ellerslie Cricket. His philosophy has always been to create an environment where every player can reach their full potential, regardless of what level they strive to play at, and at King's, that will be no different.
Our guest speaker for the evening is international cricketer and Old Collegian, James Marshall. The batsman is known for his versatility and leadership both in and beyond the game.
You will also hear from the newly established King’s Cricket Community Fund, who will share their plans for additional support of cricket.
On the night there will be a raffle and a limited number of silent auction items. All proceeds from these will go directly into cricket at King’s.
Thank you to our generous sponsors, Auckland City BMW, for allowing us to hold this event in their newly opened showroom.
