Monday 25 April 2016

Date: Monday, 25 April
Time: 9.30am – 10.30am
Venue: King’s College Memorial Chapel

The King’s College Old Collegians' Association warmly invites you and your family to attend our ANZAC Day Service to commemorate the ANZACs' landing at Gallipoli in 1915.

With over 1,000 Old Collegians serving in the World Wars, our upcoming ANZAC Day Service will be a very special one, giving our community the opportunity to come together to honour those students and staff who fought and gave their lives.

The KCOCA and King's College are very pleased that Old Collegian Major Keith Miller (Selwyn, 1986-89) has agreed to address this year’s Service. At a time when ANZAC Day remembrances remain particularly poignant as the ‘100-years on’ observations continue to resonate among New Zealanders, it is pertinent to have a speaker from the modern era, highly-skilled in technologies and management systems never dreamed of 100 years ago.

Retiring from the British Army in August 2013, Keith was Director International Professional Services for AccessData, a US Cyber Security firm, before taking over as Head of Technology Operations for the ICT Service Centre, New Zealand Police based in Wellington in 2015.

A morning tea in the Student Dining Hall will follow the ANZAC Day Service.

We look forward to seeing you there.
