The role of the Advancement Office and the Director of Advancement is to manage and implement a fully integrated programme in order to achieve the common vision of the College.

This involves the management and expansion of the 'friendraising', fundraising, sponsorship, communications and marketing activities of King's College and its support organisations, which include the King's College Old Collegians' Association, the Friends' Association, the King's College Foundation and the Floreat Semper Fellowship.
