Introduction

Student achievement and the pursuit of excellence are the mainstay of the
King's College curriculum. The New Zealand Curriculum forms the basis of
programme planning and delivery at Year 9 and Year 10. Senior students
undertake courses in the Cambridge International Examinations and/or the
National Certificate of Educational Achievement.

Students are encouraged at all levels to monitor and evaluate their own
achievement and progress. Students at the College enjoy a variety of
opportunities for learning and a wide range of subject options. King's
College has a clear vision to provide high quality learning opportunities
for all students.

Subject Options Changes 2011

A reminder that should students wish to change their subject choices for 2011 then they should fill in the request form at the following link: Request Form

Students will have an opportunity to make limited changes only. Every effort will be made to accommodate subject option change requests, but these cannot be guaranteed. Generally students should not need to change their selections unless their situation has changed owing to their 2010 examination results.

Priority is given to Y13 and Y12 students.  Subject option change requests must be received at the College by 3.00pm Friday 28 January 2011.

Students who wish to make more substantive changes to their course of study should make an appointment to see Mr Coombe the week of 25-28 January by contacting Rachel Toft at:  r.toft@kingscollege.school.nz This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
