The College expects that staff will maintain standards of dress in keeping with their professional status as employees of King’s, upholding the College’s conservative traditions and high standards.

Men
Tie, shirt, suit or tailored jacket with dress trousers, dress shoes.

Women
The style for women is characterised by conventional formality.

It is expected that staff have hairstyles that are appropriate to the institution of King’s College.

If jewellery is to be worn, it should be worn conservatively. Traditionally, it has not been accepted practice for males to wear earrings or for any staff to have other visible body piercings.
