Facilities and Services
Physical facilities The Library and Information Centre occupies the lower floor of the Centennial Centre building. It is available for class bookings, for individual student use before and after school and during break times, and for student study during Evening Prep times. ![]() A wide range of magazines is displayed behind the Issue Desk for borrowing to read in the library outside class times. Students must leave ID cards at the Issue Desk when borrowing a magazine, and retrieve their card when they return the magazine. Magazines can be used by students in class time only when their use is part of the set library research work. Newspapers The New Zealand Herald is available Monday-Friday - for reading in the library. The Sunday Star-Times is also available in the Library each Monday. Newspapers are not available for loan. Other local and international newspapers are also available at the Issue Desk. Please return them afterwards.

They give access to the Internet (for web, e-mail and database use - EPIC, Blackboard, ScholarNet), to computer production software (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and to printing services. Students with laptops can access the network via Ethernet or wirelessly. Two scanners are also available, and a colour photocopier provides colour and black/white copying as well as computer colour printing services (both these services are debited from student ID charge-cards).
