Linking Order Grades and AS Grades
This chart indicates the equivalent AS grade for a given Order Grade in any particular subject. The data is based on the results for students doing the one-year AS courses but the chart should apply for students doing the two-year course as well.

It must be emphasized that these grades are purely indicitive since a student's performance in the A Level exams may of course differ from his or her performance during the year. Furthermore the link is complicated by the fact that the student's AS grade contributes 50% of the A Level grade, so that is another important factor which will determine the final grade.
