Debaters on Fire
On Thursday 1 September, Taylor and Middlemore had their annual debate for the Pearson Cup. The moot for the afternoon was "This House would make antenatal testing for genetic disorders compulsory". Taylor took on the side of negating this topic and did so convincingly. It was a most interesting discussion with some excellent speakers on both sides but in the end Taylor was declared the winner with first speaker, Ashley Varney, given best speaker of the day. The Taylor team also consisted of Nupur Shukla and Kelsey Brooke-Cowden.
