Good news for one of King's budding entrepreneurs, Rachel Abbott (Year 13, Taylor) who was awarded "Young Female Entrepreneur of the Year" on Monday evening at the Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme Auckland Central Region. Her company Sugar High also received 'The Edge, Excellence in Communication Award'.
 
Rachel is the Communications Director of Sugar High and was the driving force behind the group meeting all the deadlines set by the Regional Co-ordinator and attending all the required events . This group was the first group to have completed everything for this category and gained the maximum marks they could get of 40/40.
