Scholarships for King's Students
The following students were successful in applications for Auckland University Scholarships. These pay fees and and provide $2500 a year for additional expenses. Therefore, the scholarship is worth $30,000+, depending on the course chosen.

It is reported that there were 2000-plus applicants.

 

Sarah Lewington (Middlemore) has also been awarded a scholarship from Massey University where she is planning to undertake a course in Food Technology. 

 

Victoria University has awarded Excellence Scholarships to the following King's Students:
William Steel
(School)
India Townsend
(Taylor)
Jonathan Rea
(2004 - 2008) has also been awarded a Victoria Excellence Schoalrship after a Gap Year at Campbell College in Belfast.

An AUT Scholarship has been awarded to Sam Henwood (St John's). A presentation was made by Sir Paul Reeves and was televised on Maori Television's 'The Code' recently.

The College congratulates all these students for their oustanding acheivements.
