Passionate Performance from King's
After months of tireless practice, the King's Kapa Haka group performed passionately on Friday at the Polynesian Festival. Under the watchful eye of tutor, Janine Tuateka and leaders, Tiana Kairua and Teina Clarke, the students performed in front of an appreciative audience. Teacher-in-charge of the group, Ken Carrington commented that he was very pleased with the performance and thanked all those, who came and supported them at Polyfest. Continuing their busy programme, they will perform at assembly on Tuesday and have also been asked to welcome visiting rugby teams on Easter Sunday, who are being hosted at the College by the King's institute. On the first Friday of Term 2 they have been invited to King's School as part of the annual exchange programme. A full report on the Kapa Haka group is planned for the autumn edition of the King's Courier. Gael Panama
