King's College student Timothy Youn recently competed in the Eton Mathematics Competition Final and placed second.
The competition was open to all Year 12 and Year 13 students, and Timothy was one of 15 finalists selected from the Preliminary competition which was held in May.
Timothy then competed in the final competition, which was held in Wellington. It lasted for two hours and consisted of 10 challenging problems.
Timothy remained steadfast and achieved an outstanding second place, granting him a monetary prize of $600.
