Three King's College sailors recently competed in the 2016 Oceanbridge Sail Auckland Regatta, and Year 12 student Zelda Ladefoged placed first in the female 29er class with partner, Crystal Sun from Saint Kentigern College.

Two hundred sailors met at Murrays Bay Yacht Club to compete in the Regatta.

As well as placing first in the female 29er class, Zelda and Crystal also placed seventh overall out of a field of 15.

Jordan Stevenson placed eighth in the same class with his partner William Shapland from Auckland Grammar School.

Annabel Cave placed second female and fourth overall out of eight competitors in the 420 class with her partner Alice Haslett from Diocesan School for Girls.
