Semi-Final Chance Remains for First XV

King's College was able to keep their semi-final hopes alive with a 28-3 win over De La Salle College on Saturday, 27 June.

It was a slow start but King's was 14-0 up at half-time.

De La Salle threatened to cross a number of times but the King's defence held them out repeatedly.

A second try to Trent Tipene midway through the second half saw King's stretch the lead to 21-0, giving the team the breathing space they wanted.

With time up on the clock, Edward Vaeau-Mulitalo crossed to give King's the bonus point 4th try. At the final whistle, King's had won 28-3.

The players now have a well deserved break before playing our traditional fixture against Palmerston North Boys' High School at home on Saturday, 18 July.
